Kidspiration Local Offer

What is the service?

Kidspiration Childcare and Education offers Free Early Education Entitlement (FEEE) to eligible 2 year old children. We also allow children to stay with us longer if there is a need for the child to do so. We are open Monday to Friday, term time only (38 weeks per year). We offer 2 sessions:

Morning session: 8.30 -11.25pm

Afternoon session: 11.55- 2.50pm

Children either attend all morning sessions or all afternoon sessions. We do offer a small number of fee paying and full day places for parents who wish to ‘top up’ or for those children who are not eligible for a free place who would like to attend Kidspiration.

How can I get the service?

Eligible children are entitled to 15 hours (570 hours) FEEE from the term after their 2nd birthday until the term after their 3rd birthday.  Parents/Carers can refer themselves by contacting us directly. Referrals are sometimes also made by Health and Social Care Professionals. Parents/Carers are required to provide evidence of how they meet the criteria (please contact Kidspiration for further details).

How accessible is the service?

The layout of the room has been planned and stocked with high quality developmentally appropriate furniture and resources to ensure the inclusion of all children. For example the tables can be adjusted to allow for a children who may use wheelchairs. We also have different types of chairs such as different heights and with arms to support children. We have an accessible toilet and inclusive nappy changing facilities. We have access to a safe and secure car park when dropping off and collecting children who may need additional support, use wheelchairs, have walking frames or any other equipment they may need whilst at Kidspiration. The premises are on one floor which makes access into and out of the building easy. There is plenty of space to move around and adjust furniture when needed.

We aim to meet the needs of all children as far as reasonably possible. Our policies and procedures are working documents which ensure the inclusion and safeguarding of everyone whom attends. Our policies and procedures are available to view at any time and are located outside of the Managers office. Summaries of the main policies are also included in the Nursery Handbook.
